El capitalismo de acumulación flexible y las movilidades laborales y espaciales de las mujeres en el Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara

Resumen

El presente artículo ofrece una panorámica local sobre cómo las mujeres son segregadas laboral y espacialmente según se vinculan con los procesos de acumulación flexible del capitalismo global en el Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara. Frente a la dominante de análisis de esta formación económica que se centra en estudiar las posiciones ocupadas por los trabajadores hombres en las ciudades globales de los países desarrollados, pretende reflexionar sobre esas otras posiciones que representan las mujeres, en ciudades de segundo o incluso tercer orden mundial. De esta forma, junto a las principales dinámicas globales, se evidencian otras particularidades propias del contexto local, y que se superponen a la segregación urbana que viven las mujeres económicamente activas del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara.
